Every time i try to delete, it says "make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and the file is not currently in use". I haven't use it for a long time and i think it's carrying virus. I tried to disconnect from the internet and then delete, the message is still the same. Can someone pls help. Thanks.

i have the other 2 disks but it only starts up when disk 1 is in, i have already installed it so there is nothing to worry about there, is there any program or override to allow it to start without the disk?
i mean the way you can from the update it warcraft III: frozen throne where you dont need the disk to play it, is there a mad or program or update for the movies that does that?

okay,
at the moment i only have broadband cable internet,
i have just bought a wireless router,
and i am so lost how to set it up.
i sort of know what to do, i just don't know whats what.
i don't know what my modem is, or where the networking cable that connects my moderm to the computer is.

(i have a feeling that in the pictures above, the long dark blue cable is the one that connects to the computer, but i'm not sure.

I've double clicked on volume -> Options -> Properties. But under Recording there is only CD Volume, FrontMic, Mic Volume and Line Volume. How do I (if I can) get Sound Mix?

Whenever I try to transfer any files larger than 200 mb, e.g. videos, to my external hard drive, my computer freezes, then reboots itself. I cant seem to figure out the problem or any solutions what so ever. I tried reformatting the comp, but the problems continued to happen. I have 2.5 gigs of RAM and 10 gigs of free space. This problem happened about 6 months ago. I tried cleaning all registry files and still no help. I dont think the problem has to due with my external, i brought the external to a friends house and large file transfer seem to work fine. I dont know if the problem is due to my software or hardware. I'd also tried transferring through safe mode and it continues to crash, freeze, and reboot. What should I do?

I have a 4 year old computer, and i don't know most of it's specifications. I dont really know much at all about blogs, I know they are kind of like online journals or diaries. But I dont know if anyone can acsess them or if they can be private and protected. I'm not sure on which to get... I currently have a Verizon Wireless card with limited access (5g a month), and it's not enough, not nearly enough.
So, when I move in a few weeks I will get either Comcast, or Fios.
I've had comcast, very fast, reliable, I like the TV... But I want to know if Fios is better. I hear it downloads and uploads much faster, up to 30 mbps faster...

I am putting together a vacation presentation of video and pictures, and im having a serious problem.
I built it on my desktop pc and tried transfering it to my lap top via flash drive and it wont recognize the videos being there (wont activate them when clicked on)
Here's what ive done so far to it:
I built a folder on desktop and called it "Alaska Trip"
Inside the folder i have sub folders of each stop we made (cities and such)
In each sub folder i have videos and photos.
I saved all this onto a Flash drive as well so that i could transport it to my lap top when i go show it to my family.
I built the presentation on the desktop folder, doing all the work and then saving it. I would occasionaly save it as well to the flash drive.
Last night i finally finished the presentation and saved it once more to the flash drive.
When i ran the presentation off the flash drive it ran fine,
but i needed it to run on my lap top so i moved the Flash drive over to the lap top
when i try clicking on my videos they wont run.
the photos show fine but not the video
Question.
1. Is there a way to make sure when making the presnetation that it will save as it is, no matter where you save it to?
2. why is it doing this?

I am trying to have a live feed though my camera. I have a fire wire cable and I want to have a live feed so i can use it as if it is a web camera. I'm trying to set my wireless router. First I have opened the page, put admin-admin for user name and password and filled in all the blanks. The problem is when it asked for the user id and password given by the internet provider, the blanks were already filled in, and without checking it, I assumed that they are my id and password, and submitted it. The thing is, the previous night my friend tried the router on his internet.
Now I'm afraid that instead of my id and password, I submitted my friend's.
Now I cannot connect to the internet using the wireless.
I want to try re-open the http://192.168.2.1 again and correct it, but it won't open.
btw, my router is Logitech LAN-WN12/R. All the manual and support center is in Japanese and I still can't understand the language.

EDIT: the address is http://192.168.2.1, not the common http://192.168.1.1. it's what's written on the manual.

i can't get off the computer and. i keep downloading programs on to the computer (that i never use) and it's kinda hard to get rid of them for some reason. it started when we got a mac 1 year ago it wasn't that bad
(1 hour every day) and i didn't download any thing. when we upgraded to leopard i checked once a week and stayed on for 2 hours a day. but now i feel like i have to check for new things every day and when i finely want get off the computer (at least 4 hours later) after a few minuets i feel like i have to come back to it then the same thing happens i stay on for at least 4 hours. i finely get of the computer at 11:00.
this can't get off the computer thing happened when i got depressed I'm still depressed... could this have something to do with it?

I am having an issue. I am looking for someone to talk to to ask some questions about my future here is my situation. I am currently going to the university of memphis, and I am really not interested in the bad curriculum they force me to learn. I really just want to go straight into the field working with computers in the IT field. I enjoy working on computers every day. I know a whole lot and already have my CompTIA A+ and my N+. I really want to start working and go and find a field of study in school where I can go and start just taking classes that will help me continue to grow into the field I want to go.
Also I have thought about just going to a tech school for it to just go straight in and focus on computers and the enivornment
